SUMMARY AND SUGGESTIONS

PURPOSE OF PRACTICUM
The Pre-Service Student Teacher Exchange in Southeast Asia, also known as the SEA Teacher Project, is an initiative that attempts to give pre-service student teachers from Southeast Asian institutions the chance to complete a practicum in teaching in other Southeast Asian nations.
This program meets my expectations since this program helps me enhance my skills and pedagogy and also learn about the culture of Thailand. This program also helped me improve my skills in speaking foreign languages since I practiced my English skills. Also, this program met my expectations because it helped me shape my educational journey and it provided a framework for achieving my dreams. It give a sense of direction, purpose, and values that motivated and inspired me to work towards my goals.
PROCEDURES OF PRACTICUM
During the one-month exchange program, I adhered to the following four stages:
1. Class Observation
I have learned various classroom management strategies and techniques that have helped me effectively manage my classroom. Understanding the importance of establishing clear expectations, routines, and boundaries has been crucial in creating a positive learning environment for my students. Learning about the significance of classroom management has shown me the impact it can have on student engagement, academic performance, and overall classroom dynamics. have recently learned new approaches and techniques that I believe will greatly benefit me in my future career as a teacher. These innovative methods have provided me with fresh perspectives on how to engage students and enhance their learning experiences. By incorporating these new approaches into my teaching practice, I am confident that I will be able to create a dynamic and interactive classroom environment. . I am excited to apply these newfound skills in my future role as a teacher and make a positive impact on the lives of my students. Overall, my experience with different classroom management methods has reinforced the importance of creating a structured and supportive learning environment for my students.
2. Teaching Assistant
My teaching assistantship, I have learned that it is important to assist in setting up the classroom before each lesson to ensure a smooth learning environment. I also help monitor student behavior and provide support to those who need assistance during class. Additionally, I assist in leading small group activities and providing feedback to students to help them improve their work. Getting to know each student on a personal level has allowed me to better understand their individual needs and tailor my approach to meet them. Ultimately, I have found that fostering these connections not only benefits my students' academic growth but also enriches my own teaching experience.
3. Teaching Practice
I am grateful for the opportunity to enhance my teaching skills through practice teaching. These experiences have allowed me to learn new instructional strategies and techniques that I can implement in the classroom. By reflecting on my teaching practices and seeking feedback from my supervisor and mentors, I have been able to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments. I was able the learned approach inside the classroom, incorporating new strategies and techniques to enhance student learning. By applying the knowledge gained from observing the class, I was able to create engaging and interactive lessons for my students. The learned approach helped me effectively address different learning styles and cater to the diverse needs of my students. I am grateful for the opportunity to utilize the learned approach in the classroom and continue to strive for excellence in my teaching practice.

4. Final Demonstration
Through self-reflection and feedback from mentors, I discovered that I possess the foundational skill sets of a good teacher. I realized that by enhancing these existing skills, I can become more effective in engaging and supporting my students' learning. Recognizing my strengths as a teacher has motivated me to further develop my abilities and adapt my teaching methods to better meet the needs of my students. I am excited to continue growing and refining my teaching skills to create a positive impact on the educational journey of my students.
OUTCOMES OF PRACTICUM
My cooperating teacher and mentor provided me favorable feedback as a result of my practicum. They praised me for being great students and gave us ideal grades. They also emphasized that, as expected given that we are still learning, there is still opportunity for improvement in a few areas. They reassured us that challenges and chances for development are typical and part of the process. We were inspired to keep striving for excellence and improving our skills by their insightful criticism. All things considered, the positive evaluation and the recommendations for improvement provided valuable information that will impact our future professional growth.
CHALLENGES OF PRACTICUM
During my practicum, I ran into a few obstacles that hindered my experience. The first big challenge was the language barrier because I was in a foreign nation and did not speak the language fluently. Sometimes this made it hard to have productive conversations with students and coworkers. Furthermore, I had to adapt and learn new skills because the teaching practices in this country were different from mine in order to properly engage kids. My lack of knowledge with the country contributed to another challenge I faced: I had trouble locating the specific materials I required for my classes. This situation required me to be creative and innovative in order to come up with replacement supplies and alter pre-existing resources to meet my needs.
OVERALL IMPRESSION
I am incredibly grateful for the program that has enriched my life in so many ways. It has provided me with valuable knowledge, skills, and opportunities for growth that have positively impacted my personal and professional development. I am thankful for the support and guidance I have received throughout the program. Thank you for the chance to connect with like-minded individuals who share my passion for learning and growth. This program has truly been a transformative experience, and I am filled with gratitude for the doors it has opened and the new horizons it has revealed to me. Thank you for this incredible journey of self-discovery and empowerment.
SUGGESTION
The only suggestion that I want to share is that I hope the program's duration is longer. I believe if we have more time it will help us for a deeper understanding of the objectives of the program. Base on my experience, if we stay longer I believe that I can gain a lot of knowledge that I can share to my fellow students since the method and techniques is really different to the country I belong. This kind of knowledge will be advantageous to the students who will experience it so if this program is longer it will produce a high quality teacher who is sensitive, diverse and culturally aware to its surroundings.
